A favourite of Battle Croft Farms own Southdown Shepherd.  Any of your old family shepherds pie recipes will work well with our mutton there will just be an added depth of flavour.  In case you don't have an old family favourite we have added ours here.

There's more to eat in Kentucky than fried chicken and Mutton is not just for slow cooking in the winter months... this has been a favourite during our heatwave, slow cooking in the BBQ with this delicious marinade.  We use leg or shoulder for this recipe but the marinade works equally well with chops.
